Welcome to the Lake!
Some days, the best thing you can do for your students…
is take care of yourself.
Teaching is beautiful work.
Meaningful work.
Important work.
But it is also heavy work.
This is the place where I step away from the noise.
Where I slow down.
Where I notice.
Where I remember that my worth isn’t measured by my to-do list.
Pull up a chair by the water.
Stay awhile.
The lesson plans will still be there tomorrow.

Some days you need new lesson ideas. Other days, you just need someone to remind you to breathe.
The Teacher Recharge Plan is a printable guide designed to help you check in with yourself, celebrate the small wins, leave behind what weighs you down, and step into tomorrow with renewed purpose. I hope it becomes the reminder you need that your well-being matters just as much as the incredible work you do every day.
Meet me at the lake. We’ll leave the stress behind and carry hope into tomorrow.
Lakeside Reflections
Today, I’m grateful for holiday weekends that give us all 4 a time to be together with no work before B goes to college.
I’m learning to listen to my body and really tune in to the people around me.
I’m letting go of control.

Ripples
Every thought, every conversation, every act of kindness creates a ripple.
